This page is dedicated to the memory of our dear friends Phil and Kim Simmonds, R.I.P.
MPG are Geoff Murrell, vocals and acoustic guitar, Martin Cart, vocals, acoustic and electric lead guitar and Phil Simmonds, vocals and acoustic 6 string and 12 string guitars. We have been playing together since early June 2013, and have gone from strength to strength during that time, playing 16 gigs up to October 12th 2013, and gaining a loyal local following. We specialise in superb three part harmonies and play music from folk and country, to pop and rock, covering songs by artists as diverse as Snow Patrol, Sandy Denny, Paolo Nutini, Garth Brooks and Creedence Clearwater Revival, with plenty of Beatles and Stones for good measure!
