Exciting news - I have got together with Bluesman Charlie, to form Pure Blues, and we have our first gig together on Wednesday June 17th, at Los Conteros Restaurant and Bar, Villaricos. Pure Blues combine the considerable talents of blues guitarist extraordinaire, Bluesman Charlie, the wild man of blues, and yours truly. This will be our first appearance together, and promises to be something special.

February 2015 - I have been updating the site, and I think it’s improved. At the moment the major change is to the Repertoire page, which has a revised and updated song list, with lots of links to video and audio recordings. I hope you like it.

I have also fixed the Guestbook, which now works again, so please leave comments if you’d like to.

Great news about a summer spectacular for charity called Competa Rocks, that I am involved with. On Friday August 9th, in the Plaza behind the town hall in Competa, we are putting on an evening of fantastic music. I will be performing with our new trio MPG, and also playing are the fabulous acts, The African Drummers, Megan Rose, Vagablondes and Guiri.

Bad news I’m afraid. Competa town hall have imposed another ban on most live music in bars and restaurants. This follows a similar, but fortunately short lived, ban earlier in the year. This one looks like it could be more of a problem, and we have already had two gigs canceled.

On November 16th, 2013, we are all gathering (we being the Kinks fraternity) at the Clissold Arms in Fortis Green, London N2, for the Saturday night, pre Kinks Konvention, sing along with Geoff Lewis and the Kinks Fan Kollectiv.
